Dear All,

The World Summit on the Knowledge Society, is an international attempt to promote the dialogue for the main aspects of the Knowledge Society towards a BETTER WORLD for all. The World Summit on the Knowledge Society will bring together Academics, People from Industry, Policy Makers, Politicians, Government Officers and active citizens to look at the impact of Information Technology, and the knowledge-based era it is creating, on key facets of today’s world: the state, business, society and culture.

Five general pillars provide the constitutional elements of the Summit:

Government and Democracy in the Knowledge Society
Research and Sustainable Development in the Knowledge Society
Social and Humanistic Computing for the Knowledge Society
Information Technologies for the Knowledge Society
Education, Culture, Business, Tourism, Entertainment in the Knowledge Society.

We need a better world. We contribute with our sound voices to the agenda, policies and actions. We invite you to join your voice with ours and all together to shape a new deal for our world. Education, Sustainable Development, Health, Opportunities for well being, Culture, Collaboration, Peace, Democracy, Techology for all. Open Minds for a Better World.

Get Involved to the Summit

Dear All,
The World Summit on the Knowledge Society, is an open forum and operates as a GLOBAL THINK TANK for the knowledge society. We invite you to be part of it and the next years to promote our cultivated ideas, actions, and to launch many initiatives aiming to develop the prerequisites for a better world.

There are many ways to get involved in the World Summit on the Knowledge Society:

Join our Scientific Program Committee and contribute to the overall quality and impact of the event
Submit your Article to the 4 Main Tracks and the 25 subtracks of the Summit
Propose a New Track
Organize a RoundTable Session
Organize a Special session
Submit your Poster / Case Study / Demonstration to our exhibition hall
Run a session and also a special issue in one of the 14 full peer reviewed international scientific journals that sponsor the Summit
Run a session and develop an edited book in the 4 book series that are sponsoring our event
Host an infokiosk in the DEMONSTRATION area of the summit
Sponsor an invited talk
If you are representing a company/government/association/NGO sponsor the Summit and/or run special seesions
If you are representing a media company be a communication sponsor and benefit from the event.
Participate in the alliance program of the Summit and help in developing a world network of affiliated organizations visioning a better world for all.
