Scope of the Journal

The OPEN RESEARCH JOURNAL on ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS is a timely series responding to the increasingly interest on accounting information systems in the 21st century. It examines the rapidly evolving relationship between accounting and information technology. Articles may range from empirical to analytical, from practice-based to the development of new techniques, but must be related to problems facing the integration of accounting and information technology.

The focus of OPEN RESEARCH JOURNAL on ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS is to bring forth last developments on management and ideas from world top experts. The journal explores key issues in accounting information systems, from control and auditability to development issues in accounting and information systems, among other topics. The journal provides a forum for the debate of current issues and present cutting-edge research and ideas in the field. Content is wide-ranging and international, making it an invaluable resource for leading academics, students, accounting professionals and managers alike.
