Scope of the Journal

Information Systems Discipline in the Context of Computing and Information Science has played a key role in the promotion of the vision for the Knowledge Society. Nowadays Information Systems discipline faces new challenges. New emerging technologies as well as matured approaches for the social, technical and developmental role of IS, provide a new context for the evolution of the discipline for the next years.

In the same run, Academia and Industry are seeking for convergence in the development and exploitation of sound propositions in terms of Theory, Applications and Technologies.

Through OPEN RESEARCH JOURNAL ON INFORMATION SYSTEMS, we want to disseminate relevant knowledge and fresh apporoaches for the new teaching paradigm for IS for business, academia and society

Submission Guidelines
OPEN RESEARCH JOURNALS apply a novel model for high qiality peer review and publication. Community development model is the key underlying idea. The peer process is based on blind review and is performed through a huge committed pool of reviewers.

The publication time is also too fast since high quality standards permit the publication of an article within 3 months after submission.

Last but not least authors are engaged in production, since they are offering their time or resources for the camera ready files of their accepted papers. Trhough this approach we have a critical cut in the production cylce of published articles.
